Long for a warm Summer day, sitting on the front porch, watching the world
go by? What a way to enjoy life! Share a glass of our herb and
fruit (caffeine-free) infusions at your next get-together with friends.
They will want your recipe for these sensational cool drinks. One
ounce will make 1, 1-gallon pitcher of iced "tea". Just place the
"tea" in the pitcher and pour warm water into the pitcher and let sit in the
refrigerator overnight. Strain the next morning. (Instructions
included with each order.)

APPLE
PEACH --- This delicious blend of peaches,
apples, and other fruits give an exotic taste. During May, the
Niagara Peninsula in Canada is ablaze with color from the blossoms of the
soft fruit trees. A large percentage of the trees are peach trees and by
the end of July, these delicate blossoms manifest themselves into large,
soft, ‘juice running down your chin’ yellow peaches. This iced herb
and fruit infusion is reminiscent of these peaches; perhaps a little more
full-bodied and fruity but it still has the wonderful tones of those
Niagara peaches.

BOUNTIFUL BERRY
--- Our customers tell us that our Bountiful Berry
is one of their favorite herb and fruit tisanes for iced "tea."
Hibiscus adds a tart dimension to the blend which makes it very
refreshing. The rose- hip chips add a mellow smoothness to the tea, a
distinctive character, and add plenty of Vitamin C. The currants give the
tea a distinctive character; black currants for full fruit and red
currants for a tangy, biting flavor. Finally, the raisins give a natural
sweetness. By virtue of the fact that this tisane does not contain tea,
only herbs and fruits, it is caffeine-free. For a Summertime drink,
Bountiful Berry iced is hard to beat for formal times, garnish with a
strawberry and a sprig of mint. For informal times, pour it into your

We
have traveled outside the Southern
states enough to know that, for lots
of people and restaurants, the preparation of iced tea is a puzzle that has
yet to be solved. There are some national chain restaurants (Dallas-born
Chili's, for instance) where you can usually get a decent glass of iced tea
served with a nice lemon wedge. But there remain so many establishments that
serve up a small glass containing a liquid that is barely amber in color
with a few fast-melting ice cubes and, worst of all, a thin circle of lemon
perched on the rim of the glass. Follow our instructions for what we call
"MOON TEA"
(...because you can leave it in the
refrigerator overnight; no need to leave it outside as you would Sun Tea),
and you will experience the best iced "tea" you have ever tasted!
