THE PACKAGING OF OUR
TEAS
To
ensure freshness, all of our teas are packed to order in sealed
specialized, moisture-proof tea sacks that protect against light and air.
All sacks have a sealed closure for easy resealing and freshness.

| ORDERING We
offer 4 convenient ways of ordering:
Online: Place your order through our website. We use a secure server to ensure
that any financial information you give us remains safe.
By Phone: We encourage you to order online for the fastest possible service, but
feel free to call in your order, if you like. Call us at
1-425-396-0643,
Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm, PST. If you reach our voice mail,
please leave your name, phone number, and time zone where you are located,
so that we may return your call as soon as possible.
By Fax: Fax your order with your name (as it appears on your credit card, your
credit card #, and expiration date to 1-425-396-0647. Please be sure to
include your phone and fax number in case we need to contact you.
By Mail:
Use the online shopping cart to add items you wish to purchase. Click
“Check Out” and fill it out. Print a copy of the order form and enclose a
check or credit card # and expiration date. We do not accept cash or COD
orders. Be sure to include the appropriate sales tax and shipping charge
for each shipping address. Mail the order form to:

SAMPLES
OF OUR TEAS & TISANES
When you place
an order of $10.00 or more, we would like to send you some free samples. We
recognize that many of our customers would like to try samples of our teas
and tisanes before purchasing a large amount. Look through all of our
teas and tisanes and let us know which ones you would like to try, and we
will send some with your first order.

PAYMENT
OPTIONS
We
currently accept VISA and MASTERCARD. We also accept personal checks
denominated in U.S. dollars for mail orders only. Please note that paying
by check does delay your order by a few days as we do not ship merchandise
until the check is cleared. If you place your order by phone, we will
give you the check total and hold the order until payment is received and
cleared.

SALES
TAX
There
is no sales tax on tea or other food items. Tea accessories and other
non-tea-related items are subject to 7.7% sales tax for the residents in
Washington state only.

SHIPPING,
DELIVERY, & HANDLING
Order Turnaround Time:
We ship most orders within 5 to 7 business
days from the day you place your order. Orders placed over the week-end
(after 5pm on Fridays (PST)) are shipped no sooner than Monday. You will
be notified if any items are on backorder, or if we have any questions
concerning your order.
Shipping Methods:
We offer 3 shipping methods for delivery within the
U. S. including…Standard USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx, or
UPS. Orders to P. O. Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and all other
U.S. territories will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
Delivery Times:
Please allow 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends
& holidays) for Standard delivery within the U.S.
International Orders:
Shipping charges will be quoted via email once
the weight of the package is determined. We will quote the air and
surface rates, as well as approximate shipping time. We ship and charge
for your order only after receiving your shipping authorization.

GIFT
WRAPPING
All
of your purchases can be gift-wrapped for an additional charge of
$5.00
per order. Simply tell us so in the Comments Section of your order
form upon checkout. For all “Gift Boxes”, complimentary gift-wrapping is included
in the price of the item.

RETURN
POLICY
We
want you to be happy with your purchase. If any item is damaged, or does
not meet your expectations, simply return it within 30 days of purchase
& with your receipt and we will gladly replace it, exchange it, or
refund your money.
We
regret that we are unable to accept any returns on tea or any food items.
To
return an item, please indicate the reason for your return on your
receipt, and include it with your return and wrap the package securely.
If you do not send your receipt, please indicate your name, address, order
number, and reason for the return on a separate piece of paper. Returns
should be sent via the US Postal Service to:

Please note that we can only refund shipping costs if the return is a
result of our error.

& SECURITY POLICY
Privacy:
We
consider all information about our customers, their orders, and the
products they purchase, or inquire about, to be personal and
confidential. We respect the right to privacy and therefore, we will not
disclose or sell any personal information to others.
The
From Leaf to Cup only requests the following personal information:

Credit Card number (for orders
only)

This
information will be used internally for processing customer orders,
informing customers of order status, and providing customers with product

Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the
loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Every
purchase you make is absolutely safe. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL),
the industry standard for secure commerce transactions, to transmit your
credit card information over the Internet. This means your credit card
number is encrypted during the transactions process, so that the
information cannot be read as it travels over the Internet.
